Surprise! We have had a visit.

Look who lost a tooth!

I had no idea that children this young lost their teeth but google confirmed it to be true. (btw 4-7) Apparently this is often the case if they got their first ones early which she did. Google also warned that the next bottom one would likely fall out soon to make room for what apparently are giant bottom teeth.

She was confused and upset at first but now is our toothless champ.

It was strangely emotional for me. Maybe because it was such obvious visual sign of her growth. All the more reason to really enjoy and appreciate this time together.

Luckily the Tooth Fairy makes visits to the Netherlands too. Lucille was quite happy to have two "gold" coins.
